Material examined. Holotype: male, UKRAINE, Kharkiv Region: Krasnokutsk , arboretum, 11.vi.1992, leg. A. Kotenko (deposited in: SIZK).
Diagnosis. Exochus karazini is characterized by the combination of the following characters: face not strongly swollen, black with a yellow horseshoe-shaped mark; frons black; yellow marks opposite to lateral ocelli not elongated; clypeus with apical margin straight; occipital carina absent dorsally; meso- and metasoma black; propodeum with area superomedia closed apically, wider than area dentipara; costulae distinct; fore wing with vein cu-a opposite to Rs&M; third laterotergite straight from the proximal end, wedge-shaped; legs generally yellowish- orange, fore and mid coxae black basally, yellow apically, hind coxa and hind trochanter black, hind tibia yellowish basally, fuscous apically.
Distribution. Currently known from Kharkiv Region of Ukraine ( Tolkanitz 2007a).
