Brief diagnosis. Female with a combination of the following key features: F1 with distal half or so black dorsally while often whitish ventrally, ratio of F1 length to pedicel length 0.72–0.90, and ratio of F2 length to F1 length 0.84–1.00; minimum width of frontovertex 0.39–0.44× head width; marginal setae on fore wing inconspicuous or relatively short (the longest seta at most 20 µm). Male antenna ( Figs 2 View FIGURES 1–3 , 6 View FIGURES 4–6 ) with a wide median dark band on the scape. See Andreason et al. (2019) for the additional illustrations of both sexes of this species.
