NOTES

Lecomte (1928a: 114) cited Poilane 10791 collected from Quang tri Province in Annam as the original material, and seven specimens of this collection have been located at NY, P and VNM. Nguyen (1996: 69) cited Poilane 10791 (P) as the holotype of this species. Since there are three sheets of Poilane 10791 at P, however, a second-step lectotypification is needed. The specimen P00721635, including a detailed label and Lecomte’s annotation, is designated here as the lectotype. Additionally, two wood anatomical slides of Poilane 10791 are also found in P slide library.
