Historic records:
Bissorã (OIO) ( Serrano 2009a sub Polyaulacus brunnea Chaudoir, 1878 ).
Material examined: Indjassen (P.N. Lagoas da Cufada) (11º 41´35.62´´ N, 15º 00´03.62´´ W, 23 m alt.) ( QUN), 16.VII.2009, 1 female, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC.
Remarks. The species is widespread throughout western, central, and southeastern Africa ( Serrano 2009a; Lorenz 2021). It was reported for the first time for Guinea-Bissau by Serrano (2009a). The adult specimen was sampled by LT within a semi-humid forest at the beginning of the wet season ( Table 1 View TABLE 1 ). It is a new species record for the QUN Administrative Region, Guinea-Bissau.
