Geographical distribution: Atlantic Ocean ( Bartsch 1978; GBIF 2022).
Distribution in Portugal: Azores Archipelago ( Bartsch 1978).
Ecological notes: Typical marine benthic, found from 2006 to 4223 m depth, associated with poriferans and hydrozoans ( Bartsch 1978).
