Material examined: Gulf of Oman, Iran, Tis, intertidal, hand collected, January 2019, 3 spms, collector Yaser Fatemi [SMNH-178940].

Habitat: Shells, coral gravel, subtidal rock, grass bed and coral reef, 33 m ( Mortensen 1940; Clark & Bowen 1949; Price 1981; Price 1983; Jones, 1986; Attaran-Fariman et al. 2014; Present study) ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ).

Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman: Tis (16), Al Juraid Island (22), Tarut Bay (25), Stiffe’s Bank (28), Kuwait (ibid.).
