Leptotrombidium (Leptotrombidium) miculum arvinum var. saigoni Vercammen-Grandjean and Langston, 1976: 425 .

Diagnosis. SIF = 7B-B-3-2111.0000; fPp = N/N/BNN; Pc = 3; Gn = 2; fSc: PL> AM> AL; PL/SB; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.2; fD = 2H-10-6-6-4-2; DS = 30; VS = 28; NDV = 58; Ip = 732; AW 58, PW 65, SB 26, ASB 26, PSB 14, SD 40, AP 25, AM 41, AL 38, PL 51, S 62, H 48, D min 40, D max 50, V min 27, V max 45, pa 252, pm 220, pp 260. Ratio PW/AP = 2.6. S 1 = 19 µm.

Type material (not examined). Holotype larva (No 2004) from Rattus rattus (L.), VIETNAM: Gia Lai Province, An Khe , 16 February 1966 . Holotype is deposited in the Institut Pasteur, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam .

Remarks. Described from a single specimen.
