( Figs 29–37 View FIGURE 29 View FIGURES 30–37 )
Nothybus biguttatus Wulp, 1896: 112 ; Aczél, 1955: 10; Frey, 1958: 38; Steyskal, 1977: 30; Galinskaya & Shatalkin, 2015: 583; Lonsdale & Marshall, 2016: 16 View Cited Treatment . Syntypes (³♀): Indonesia, Java, ZMAN (lost).
Diagnosis. Frons ( Figs 30–32 View FIGURES 30–37 ) with two velvety black anterior patches. Mesonotum ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 30–37 ) with regularly 4 rows of acrostichal setulae in mid-longitudinal stripe. Fore basitarsomere ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 30–37 ) dark brown with wide middle portion white. Abdominal tergites almost entirely black ( Figs 36, 37 View FIGURES 30–37 ).
Material examined. CHINA: 1♀, Tibet, Medog, Beibeng (N29.330938°, E95.339495°), 29 May. 2019, leg. Y. He & R GoogleMaps . Shen ( CAU).
Distribution. CHINA (Tibet) [new record], INDONESIA (Java, Sumatra), NEPAL, VIETNAM.
Remarks. The specimen examined here is similar to the northern Vietnamese variation mentioned by Galinskaya & Shatalkin (2015) and Lonsdale & Marshall (2016), but the mid femur has a dark medial ring and the hind femur lacks a dark medial band. These specimens are also darker than those from Java and Sumatra but they are identical in other external features.
