Neodryinus chelatus Olmi 1984: 1079 .

Material examined. Types: Holotype, female, LAOS: Vientiane Province, Ban Van Eue ( BPBM!). PHILIPPINES: Palawan: Balabac, Dalawan Bay, 1 female paratype ( ZMKD!). Further specimens examined: INDONESIA: Sulawesi: Utara, Dumoga – Bone Nat. Park, Toraut, 220 m, 9–16.v.1985, J.S. Noyes coll. ( BMNH!); same locality label, iv.1985 ( BMNH! AMNH!). PHILIPPINES: Basilan ( USNM!). Negros: Cuernos Mts. ( USNM!).

Diagnosis. Female with occipital carina incomplete, distinct on sides of posterior ocelli, laterally at least reaching 0.5 length of OOL; pronotum only with an anterior very deep transverse furrow, without a posterior impression ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ); scutum laterally sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels, medially reticulate rugose; notauli absent; enlarged claw with a very large subapical tooth located very near distal apex ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ). Male unknown.

Redescription. Female: fully winged; length 6.2–9.3 mm. Head black, except mandibles and lateral regions of clypeus yellow; antenna black, except ventral side of segments 1–2 yellow and segments 6–10 reddish; mesosoma black, except lateral regions of pronotum partly reddish; metasoma reddish; fore legs black, except coxae and trochanters partly yellow, clubs of femora and outer face of tibiae reddish, enlarged claw yellow; mid and hind legs black, except coxae partly reddish, trochanters and clubs of femora reddish, tarsi yellow, except proximal half of segment 1 black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 37:17:137:70:45:46:30:25:22:28. Head shiny, excavated, sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels on face and vertex; frontal line incomplete, absent in anterior half of face; occipital carina incomplete, only present behind and on sides of posterior ocelli, laterally reaching 0.5 length of OOL or extending beyond; POL = 7; OL = 7; OOL = 38; OPL = 1; temples absent. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ) shiny, sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels, crossed by a transverse impression; posterior edges of pronotum rounded, not produced into lobes. Scutum shiny, hairy, with medial region reticulate rugose and lateral regions sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels. Notauli absent. Scutellum reticulate rugose and sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels. Metanotum very reduced, short. Propodeum completely reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much longer than proximal part. Fore tarsal segment 1 longer than segment 4 (35:25). Enlarged claw ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ) with a large subapical tooth and a row of 4–9 peg-like hairs. Segment 5 of fore tarsus ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ) with two rows of 18–20 lamellae; distal apex with a group of at least 30 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/2.
