Liquorilactobacillus oeni (oe ′ ni. Gr. masc. n. oinos, wine; N.L. gen. n. oeni , of wine).
Basonym: Lactobacillusoeni Mañes-Laetal . 2009, 2013 VP
L. oeni cells are mostly motile and they grow at pH 4.5–8.0 butnot atpH 3.3 and with 10 % ethanol. L-Malicacid istransformed into L(+)-lactic acid. They produce exopolysaccharide from sucrose [ 203]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.12 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNA is 37.3.
