Companilactobacillus jidongensis (ji.dong.eńsis. N.L. masc. adj. jidongensis , pertaining to Jidong, a county in the Heilongjiang province of China).
Basonym: Lactobacillus jidongensis Weiand Gu 2019 , 3192 VP
Growth is observed at 10 °C but not at 37 °C; DL-lactic acid is produced from hexoses but not from pentoses [ 118]. The genome size is 2.71 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNA is 36.5.
