Charleston Co., Edisto Island , Botany Bay plantation, 11 June 2016, on Sabal palmetto (Walt.) Lodd. ( Arecaceae ) petioles, coll. R. M. Gemmill, J. R. Gemmill, K. Carman, T. Austin.

Observed 11 June 2016, 18 June 2016. Petioles of S. palmetto with adult emergence holes were common along high tide line.
