TL: India, Assam, Khasi Hills [now in Meghalaya].
Distribution: India (Meghalaya, Uttarakhand); Indonesia (Java); Malaysia (Malaya); Nepal; Sabah; Sri Lanka; Sumatra; Thailand; Vietnam ( Robinson et al. 1994; Pinkaew 2007; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).
Host: Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Lauraceae) is reported to be the host plant ( Fletcher 1932; Diakonoff 1973).
Illustrations: Adult ( Nedoshivina 2013: 228) and genitalia ( Clarke 1958: 516; Rose et al. 2005: 274).
