Diagnosis
Males resemble those of T. rothorum and T. andrewdavisi in having a relatively large apical conductor ( Figure 4A) View Figure 4 but can be distinguished by the greatly elevated retrolateral side of the tegulum ( Figure 4B View Figure 4 ); females are easily recognized by the asymmetrical insemination ducts opening underneath the slit-like atrium ( Figure 4E View Figure 4 ).

Description
Male (MHNG, THA-99/1). Spination: Leg I: Femora p1-1-1; tibiae p9 r9; metatarsi p5 r5. Leg II: Tibiae p8 r8; metatarsi p5 r4. Carapace reddish brown; submarginal lobes blunt, slightly elevated ( Figure 2D View Figure 2 ). Sternum reddish brown. Legs hairless, bi-coloured: Femora to tarsi brown, other segments yellowish brown. Opisthosoma elongate-ovoid. Dorsal scutum reddish brown, covering three-quarters of length of opisthosoma.
Palp ( Figure 4A–C View Figure 4 ): Palpal tibia relatively short. RTA triangular, its apex blunt. DTA short and stout, weakly sclerotized. Tegulum ovoid, strongly protruding meso-retrolaterally, with field of pale, transparent area. Conductor triangular, broad at base, its apex blunt, curving backward. Embolic base well-developed, clearly visible.
Female (holotype, MSNG). Spination: Leg I: Femora p1-1-1; tibiae p10 r10; metatarsi p6 r6. Leg II: Tibiae p9 r9; metatarsi p5 r5. General appearance as in male except submarginal lobes on carapace broader at base, their apices blunt; dorsum of opisthosoma pale, posteriorly with a series of faint chevrons ( Figure 2E View Figure 2 ). Venter pale.
Genitalia ( Figure 4D,E View Figure 4 ): Epigyne with deep cleft on left side. Copulatory orifices opening on crescent-shaped atrium. Insemination ducts asymmetrical, connected to middle portion of spermathecae on their ventral surfaces. Secretory ampullae digitiform, originating sub-proximally on insemination ducts. Spermathecae elliptic. Fertilization ducts lanceolated.
Distribution
Southern Thailand and west coast of the Thai-Malay Peninsula.
