Comments. Buenoa amnigenopsis resembles B. amnigenus in general appearance and has the major characteristics of the salutis -group: the synthlipsis very narrow and the stridulatory area of the fore femur absent. The rostral prong is similar in both species. The distinction is the notch on fore femur of B. amnigenopsis ( Fig. 64 ); the notch is absent on the femur of B. amnigenus ( Fig. 67 ).
