Type species: Variogalumna singularis Mahunka, 1995 , p. 294

Body surface fully with reticulate ornamentation. Lamellar lines costula-like. Lamellar setae lateral to lamellar lines. Notogastral setae represented by 10 pairs of alveoli. Median pore absent. Other morphological traits correspond to generic diagnosis.

Statement of monophyly: Monophyletic, but nested within Flagellozetes (Cosmogalumna)

Distribution: Oriental region
