Etymology:—Latin, cordiformis , cordate-shape, referring to the cordate leaf blade of the species, one of its disgnostic characters ( Chen & Gilbert 1994).
Distribution:—Mixed forests; ca. 1500 m. SW Yunnan ( Chen & Gilbert 1994).
