F. m. Marusik, 1993: 79, f. 7‒8 (♀).

Material examined: MONGOLIA: Govi-Altai Aimag: holotype ♀ ( ZMMU), between the Atas-Bogdo and Shor- Teg Mts., 0 7.1989 (A. Ponomarenko, Yu. Popov); 2♀ ( ISEA), Huvchiyn-Nuru Mt. Range, 45°09’N, 94°24’E, dry residual mountains, 1050–1300 m, 12.05.2012 (A.A. Fomichev).

Diagnosis. Fedotovia mongolica is most similar to F. mikhailovi sp. n., from which it differs by larger size ( Table 1 View TABLE 1 ), different course of posterior part of insemination ducts, and oval fovea (subrectangular in similar species). It differs from F. uzbekistanica and F. feti sp. n. by the short and wide basal parts of insemination ducts ( Figs 28 View FIGURES 22 – 28 , 32‒33 View FIGURES 29 – 34 ).

Description. Female (from Huvchiyn-Nuru). Total length 10.85. Carapace: 4.65 long, 3.5 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.11, ALE 0.21, PME 0.13, PLE 0.2, AME‒AME 0.1, AME‒ALE 0.07, PME‒PME 0.13, PME‒PLE 0.29, ALE‒PLE 0.31; MOQ length 0.49, front width 0.33, back width 0.39. Coloration: Carapace light brown. Chelicerae dark brown; promargin with 2 teeth, retromargin with 3‒4 teeth. Sternum, maxillae and labium brown. Legs yellow-brown. Opisthosoma grey-cream dorsally and cream-coloured ventrally. Spinnerets yellowbrown. Tibia I length/width ratio 4.8. Spination as in Table 2 View TABLE 2 .

Leg measurements:

Epigyne as in Figs 28 View FIGURES 22 – 28 , 32‒34 View FIGURES 29 – 34 ; with long lateral margins and round scape. Posterior parts of insemination ducts thick, short and twisted; anterior parts of ducts spiraled.

Size variations. Total length 10.85–12.3; carapace 4.65–5.1 long and 3.5–4.0 wide (n = 2).

Male unknown.

Distribution. Known from two localities in Govi-Altai Aimag (southwestern Mongolia).
