Didelphis View in CoL species are the largest marsupials in the region ( Emmons & Feer 1997). The two species captured are easily recognized and distinguished by the color of their ears. The sympatry of these species has already been reported for localities in central Brazil (e.g., Bezerra et al. 2009).
