Exot. Microlep. 4: 80 (Lecithocera); Clarke, 1965: 123; Gozmány, 1978: 130. TL: India, Sikkim. [BMNH].
Diagnosis. The species was described based on a female, and no additional specimen has been found since it was described. Therefore, the male is as yet unknown.
Adult ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 17 – 32 , holotype). Wingspan, 13.0 mm.

Material examined. 1Ψ (holotype), Kalimpong, Sikkim, [19]29. E. Meyrick det. In Meyrick Coll. Gu- 8755/Clarke and a paratype in the BMNH.
Distribution. India (Sikkim).
