Material examined. Holotype, ♂, BRASIL, Paraná, Jundiaí do Sul, Fazenda Monte Verde, 08.xii.1986, armadilha Malaise , Profaupar ( DZUP).
Distribution. Brazil: Paraná.
Remarks. This species is transferred to Laelius because it has the main diagnostic characteristics cited by Barbosa & Azevedo (2011): the body has long and thick setae, the median clypeal lobe is trapezoidal with the median tooth sharpened, the clypeal carina is complete anteriorly and straight in lateral profile, and the notaulus is incomplete anteriorly.
