Remarks. This new species differs from A. venustus by having the body surface strongly coriaceous ; the antenna not elongate; the clypeus with the apical margin rounded; the antennal scrobe carinate; the notaulus narrow; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with the first metapostnotal carina; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea and mesopleural suture closed; the paramere club-shaped; the basivolsella with inner margin apically excavated and with a short projection; the cuspis with the arms very short; and the aedeagus with the apical portion wide, whereas A. venustus has the body surface coriaceous ; the antenna elongate; the clypeus with the apical margin angulate; the antennal scrobe carinate, but weak; the notaulus very narrow; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea and mesopleural suture opened; the paramere rounded; the basivolsella with a projection at the basal portion of the inner margin; the cuspis with the arms long; and the aedeagus with the apical portion slender.
