Remarks. This new species differs from A. longimerus by having the mandible narrow with the teeth equally wide; the clypeus angulate with the median clypeal carina higher than frons level; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the ocelli small; the transverse pronotal carina present and with the posterior margin foveolate; the metapectal-propodeal disc wider than long; the mesopleural suture closed; the paramere as long as the basiparamere, truncate, and sparsely setose; and the basivolsella with the basal inner margin with a projection, whereas A. longimerus has the mandible wide with the lower tooth longer than the others; the clypeus rounded with the median clypeal carina lower than frons level; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle forming a right angle; the ocelli large; the transverse pronotal carina absent; the metapectal-propodeal disc longer than wide; the mesopleural suture opened; the paramere club-shaped and glabrous, longer than the basiparamere,; and the basivolsella uniform.
