Description, male. Body length 5.46 mm. Head with green reflection; mesosoma with darkish green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with dense and short setae. Mandible narrow, angled, and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, short. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina complete; without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere shorter than paramere; paramere wide and fusiform, sparsely setose; basivolsella with apical excavation at inner margin; cuspis with arms short, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion convex and slender, and apical portion as long as basal and very slender; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Maranhão.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. franciscanus by having the body with darkish green reflection and the metapectal-propodeal disc black; the head wider than long; the clypeus short; the antennal scrobe carinate, but weak; the pronotum distinctly wider than long, the transverse pronotal carina high; the notaulus wide; the metapectal-propodeal disc with the paraspiracular carina sinuous, and with spinose projection at the posterior corner; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to the first metapostnotal carina; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed; the paramere very long; and the aedeagus with the basal portion not angulate and the apical portion slender, whereas A. similis has the body black; the head as wide as long; the clypeus long; the antennal scrobe carina well-developed; the pronotum wider than long; the notaulus narrow; the metapectal-propodeal disc with the paraspiracular carina straight and with posterior corner unarmed; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; the mesopleuron with the lower fovea opened; the genitalia with the paramere long; and the aedeagus with the basal portion angulate.
