Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. grandis ( Ashmead, 1887) by having the head distinctly longer than wide; the antennal scrobe carina reaching the eye; the circumocular suture present; the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae, with a median longitudinal line, and with the posterior pronotal sulcus followed by series of large foveae; the notaulus wide; and the mesopleuron with the posterior fovea indistinct, whereas A. grandis has the head wider than long; the antennal scrobe carina not reaching the eye; the circumocular suture absent; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae or median longitudinal line, and the posterior pronotal sulcus followed by a series of large foveae; the notaulus narrow; and the mesopleuron with the posterior fovea distinct.
