Description, male. Body length 3.31 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head long. With sparse and short setae. Mandible narrow and with two upper teeth wider than others. Median clypeal lobe rounded, short, with median apical tooth; median clypeal carina higher than frons level and extend to half of it length Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe carinate and reaching eye. Eye large, circumocular suture present. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli large. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, with transverse pronotal carina and series of foveae posteriorly followed by large foveae; transverse pronotal carina complete; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus wide. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow; posterior mesoscutellar sulcus present. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea opened; lower fovea divided; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma not developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. Basiparamere longer than paramere; paramere wide, rounded, with ventral and dorsal margin convex, sparsely setose; basivolsella straight; cuspis with arms very short, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion angled and very wide, and apical portion as long as basal, wide, and swollen; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. grandis ( Ashmead, 1887) by having the head distinctly longer than wide; the antennal scrobe carina reaching the eye; the circumocular suture present; the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae, with a median longitudinal line, and with the posterior pronotal sulcus followed by series of large foveae; the notaulus wide; and the mesopleuron with the posterior fovea indistinct, whereas A. grandis has the head wider than long; the antennal scrobe carina not reaching the eye; the circumocular suture absent; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae or median longitudinal line, and the posterior pronotal sulcus followed by a series of large foveae; the notaulus narrow; and the mesopleuron with the posterior fovea distinct.
