Mandible narrow and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, long; median clypeal carina higher than frons level. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli large. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc shorter than wide, strongly coriaceous and with transverse pronotal carina followed by foveae; transverse pronotal carina complete; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow; posterior mesoscutellar sulcus present. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea divided; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere very shorter than paramere; paramere wide and club-shaped, sparsely setose; basivolsella with apical excavation at inner margin; cuspis with arms short, with basal projection at inner margin, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion angled and slender, and apical portion as long as basal and slender; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. columbianus by having the antenna with erect setae; the clypeus with the apical margin angulate, the clypeal carina higher than frons level; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the frontal angle of the ocellae forming a right angle; the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina incomplete; the mesopleuron with a tooth-like projection; the genitalia with the paramere narrow and longer than the basiparamere, with the basal margin acute, and without a dorsal apical tooth; the basivolsella with an apical excavation; the aedeagus very narrow, with the basal portion angulate; and the apodeme not parallel, whereas A. columbianus has the antenna with dense and short setae; the clypeus with the median lobe quadrate, the clypeal carina lower than frons level; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina complete; the mesopleuron without a tooth-like projection; the genitalia with paramere very wide and shorter than the basiparamere, and with the ventral and dorsal margins straight with a short apical projection; the basivolsella with the inner margin angled and with an inner projection; the aedeagus with the basal portion angled and wide, and the apical portion wide and as long as the basal portion; and the apodeme parallel.
