Description, male. Body length 2.77 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with sparse and short setae. Mandible very narrow and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, long. Frons coriaceous , with frontal sulcus. Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye small, circumocular suture present. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli large. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc shorter than wide, densely strongly coriaceous ; transverse pronotal carina absent; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea opened; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma not developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere as long as paramere; paramere wide, rounded, with ventral margin convex and dorsal margin straight, glabrous; basivolsella with slight apical excavation at inner margin and an inner dentate projection; cuspis with arms very short, arms hardly distinct each other, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus fusiform and wide, with basal and apical portion hardly distinct; apodeme slender.

Distribution. Brazil: Minas Gerais.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. punctatus by having the antenna serrate; the mandible narrow and with its teeth equally wide; the clypeus distinctly long and wide; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the frontal line present; the circumocular suture present; the frontal angle of ocellar triangle obtuse; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina; the metapostnotum with the first metapostnotal carina reaching the posterior carina; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed, whereas A. punctatus has the antenna filiform; the mandible narrow, curved, and with the lower tooth longer than others; the clypeus with median lobe angulate, long; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal line absent; the circumocular suture absent; the frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; the pronotal disc with a transverse pronotal carina; the metapostnotum with first metapostnotal carina not reaching posterior carina; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea opened.
