Etymology. The specific name is an arbitrary combination of letters.
Diagnosis. Antilloides zozo n. sp. is distinguished from other species by having the tibiae as long as the cymbium and the embolus very slender at the tip ( Figs 18C‒D View FIGURE 18 A ‒ D , 19A‒F View FIGURE 19 A ‒ H ; 21D‒E). The females differ from other species by the short uterus externus that does not exceed the height of the spermathecae ( Fig. 21F View FIGURE 21 A ‒ F. A ‒ C ).
Description. Male (Holotype). Carapace orange, with black border and a black spot behind ocular area. Chelicerae, labium, endites and sternum orange. Palp and legs orange with sparse greenish bands. Abdomen orange, dorsally with 6–7 black chevrons (18A). Total length 1.8. Carapace length 0.8, width 0.6. PME separated by their diameters. Palp measurements: femur 0.9 long, patella 0.4 long, tibia 3.0 long, 0.2 wide. Leg measurements: I femur 1.0/ patella 0.4/ tibia 1.1/ metatarsus 0.9/ tarsus 0.6/ total 4.0; II 0.6/ 0.4/ other articles lacking; III 0.6/ 0.3/ 0.9/ 0.8/ 0.6/ 3.2; IV 0.8/ 0.4/ 0.8/ 0.9/ 0.5/ 3.4. Palp: tibiae longer than cymbium, with two long tibial spines, lyriform organs subdistal; cymbium with long distal spine; embolus longer that cymbium and with a very narrow tip ( Figs 19A‒H View FIGURE 19 A ‒ H , 21D‒E View FIGURE 21 A ‒ F. A ‒ C ). Abdomen 1.0 long.
Female (Paratype). Coloration as in male but slightly darker ( Fig. 18B View FIGURE 18 A ‒ D ). Total length 2.8. Carapace length 1.1, width 0.8. PME separated by their diameter. Palp measurements: femur 0.7 length, patella 0.4 length. Leg measurements: I femur 1.0/ patella 0.4/ tibia 1.0/ metatarsus 0.8/ tarsus 0.6/ total 3.8; II 0.8/ 0.4/ 0.6/ 0.4/ 0.5/ 2.7; III 0.6/ 0.3/ 0.6/ 0.4/ 0.4/ 2.3; IV 1.0/ 0.4/ 0.8/ 0.6/ 0.5/ 3.3. Abdomen 1.6 length. Epigynum: spermathecae globose with short necks ( Fig. 21F View FIGURE 21 A ‒ F. A ‒ C ).
Natural history. Specimens from Saint John ( USVI) were collected in litter, under cactus or under low shrubs. Distribution. Known from U. S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico ( Fig. 22 View FIGURE 22 A).
