Remarks: Rectarcturus contains two species, Rectarcturus kophameli ( Ohlin, 1901) and R. tuberculatus Schultz, 1981 , redescribed in detail by Park & Wägele (1995). The new species is placed in this genus on the basis of the key characters of the antenna and ornamentation ( Poore 2013). The single specimen is a female in which pleopod 1 is much shorter than pleopod 2; female pleopods have not been illustrated previously.
