Distribution:Palaearctic ( Ozerov 2005).

Comments: S. nigripes is arare and enigmatic species. It can be difficult to distinguish from S. flavimana and S. biflexuosa ,especially small, female specimens ( Rohner et al. 2014). Adults have been collected on cow pastures ( Rohner et al. 2015), but its ecology and habitat preferences remain unknown.
