The cardboard holder labelled “Cy: amplipennis  TYPE. F. A. A. Skuse ” and “Mid: Harb. S.” is devoid of the specimen. SKUSE ´s original description does not contain any information that might help to recognize this species, and even its generic affiliation remains uncertain. Consequently, I relegate this name to nomina dubia .
