Examined material: Fernando de Noronha (without indication of locality), 10 males, 6 females (1 ovigerous). DEC/91: Ponta das Caracas, 1 cheliped; JAN/92: Praia da Conceição, 1 male; MAR/92: Praia do Porto, 1 female, Praia da Atalaia, 5 specimens; JUN/92: Praia da Caieira, 4 specimens, Praia do Cachorro, 2 specimens; AUG/92: Praia do Leão, 1 specimen; DEC/92: Baía do Sueste, 2 specimens; MAR/93: Baía dos Porcos, 2 specimens.

Habitat: Found always in the inside of caves, normally in pairs; collected during diurnal and nocturnal diving.
