D i s t r i b u t i o n: Madagascar: mainland, Nosy Boraha (Sainte Marie).

Endemic to Madagascar. It differs from Echthromorpha rufa CAMERON in several characters (see also key), but it ressembles Echthromorpha agrestoria occidentalis KRIEGER 1909, which has a black spot in the radial cell of the fore wing and the same sculpturation of the propodeum.
