Current name of host: Crimson Rosella, Platycercus elegans (Gmelin, 1788) ; Green Rosella, P. caledonicus (Gmelin, 1788) ; Eastern Rosella, P. eximius (Shaw, 1792) ; Western Rosella, P. icterotis (Temminck & Kuhl, 1820) ( Psittaciformes : Psittaculidae ).
Notes: The material listed by Canestrini & Kramer (1899) as Pterolichus (Protolichus) chiragricus included specimens of more than one species. The Australian specimens from Platycercus flaveolus are now placed in Apexolichus affinis .
