Diagnosis. Clypeus with a very sharp indentation in the form of a semi-circle without any lateral denticles in females; in males, clypeus medially produced, apical margin truncated; IOC distinct; POD shorter than OOD; anterior carina of pronotal collar laterally curving towards pronotal lobe; head and mesosoma with regular impressed punctures; Gt 1 and Gt 3 immaculate.
Description. Female. ( Figs 1–8 View FIGURES 1–8 ). Body length 12.31–12.54 mm; fore wing 7.32–7.55 mm.
Median lobe of clypeus sharply indented into narrow semi-circle, no lateral denticles ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–8 ); IOC distinct, raised ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–8 ); POD 0.7 × OOD ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–8 ); black with following parts variously coloured: scape yellow; pedicel, fu 1 and fu 2 apically yellowish orange tending to brown in some specimens; mandible yellow with base and apex black; pronotal collar with anterior yellow patch; pronotal lobe yellow; axilla with faint yellow marking; scutellum with two large yellow maculae ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–8 ); fore and hind femora brown with yellow apical spot, fore and mid tibiae yellow with brown streaks outside; hind tibia brown with yellow streaks ventrally; Gt 1 and Gt 3 immaculate; Gt 2 and Gt 4 with large macula laterally, Gt 5 with dorso-median yellow band ( Figs 7 & 8 View FIGURES 1–8 ).
Male. ( Figs 9–14 View FIGURES 9–14 ). Body length 8.46–8.90 mm; fore wing 3.81–3.95 mm.
Median lobe of clypeus produced, apical margin truncated ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9–14 ); conspicuous longitudinal carina on clypeus; frons and vertex with dense, fairly marked punctation; IOC distinct ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9–14 ); Gt 1 robust, short; mandible, axilla and scutellum black ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 9–14 ); fore and mid femora brown with apical yellow spot, fore and mid tibiae yellow with ventral brown streak not extending till apex; hind femur brown with faint yellow spot apically; hind tibia brown, yellow ventrally; Gt 1 and Gt 3 immaculate; Gt 2 and Gt 4 each with large yellow macula laterally; Gt 5 with dorso-median yellow band ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9–14 ).

Elsewhere: Australia; Indonesia; Japan; Malaysia; Pakistan; Philippines; Singapore; Sri Lanka; Taiwan; Thailand; Vietnam ( Pulawski 2021).
