Dasyproctus oppidanus Leclercq 1972: 108 View in CoL , 117 (♂ India: Sikkim) Bingham Coll. (ZMB).
Diagnosis. (based on the original description of holotype, as no specimen was available for study).
Male. Black with following parts variously coloured: mandible yellow with apex ferruginous; fore and mid legs ferruginous; Gt 2 bimaculate, remaining terga black. Median lobe of clypeus broad, slightly emarginate medioapically; frons with superficial punctures; distinct punctures adjoining IOC, glabrous around ocelli and on vertex; anterior part of pronotum distinctly wrinkled; Gt 1 petiolate, longer than remaining three terga combined.
Distribution. India: Sikkim.
