Parasarcophaga reposita Lopes, 1959 View in CoL
Morphological characters. Gena with setulae a mix of black and yellow/white. Occiput with at least one row of black setulae behind the ocular setae, with setulae only yellow/white ventrally. Prescutellar acrostichal setae present. Proepisternum bare. 1st and 2nd abdominal sternites with short setulae. Body length 5–10 mm.
Geographical distribution. Australia (New South Wales, Queensland)—AUSTRALASIAN/OCEANIAN.
Biology. Sarcophaga reposita has been reared from egg sacs of the spider Cyrtophora moluccensis ( Cantrell 1986; Lopes 1959).
