Blastobasis inouei Moriuti, 1987: 172 View in CoL . Type locality: Japan. Type deposited: UOP.

Material examined. CHINA: Jilin Province: 3♂, Gaoshan Garden, Weidong 14 Watchtower , Mt. Changbai , 20.VII.2016, coll. Mujie Qi, Juan Li and Yanyan Jia.

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 4−13 ) forewing length 4.5–5.0 mm. The male genitalia of B. inouei can be distinguished by the proximal flange with a small cluster of hairlike setae at the base on the ventral margin, with a row of elongate spine-like setae on the outer margin, and the membrane above the proximal flange with sparse microtrichiae; and the ventral part of the valva with the distal process narrowly rounded apically ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 18−20 ). This species is similar to B. spinisetosa in the male genitalia, and the differences between them are given in the diagnosis of B. spinisetosa .

Distribution. China (Jilin), Japan (Hokkaido), Russian Far East.

Note. This species is recorded for the first time in China.
