Types. Holotype, female, China: Heilongjiang Province, Jingbo Lake, 43.52°N, 128.54°E. July 29, 2006, from Rhamnus diamantiaca Nakai (Rhamnaceae) , coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng and Song, Zi-Wei. Paratypes, 10 females and 3 males, with the same data as holotype.
Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology. The specific designation diamantiacae is from the species name of the host plant, diamantiaca .
Remarks. This species is similar to Tetra heilongjiangensis Kuang, 1995 , but can be differentiated by dorsal annuli with microtubercles (dorsal annuli smooth in T. heilongjiangensis ), median line present (median line absent in T. heilongjiangensis ), coxal area with granules (coxal area with short lines in T. heilongjiangensis ).
