Material examined. St 20b, 12/11/2009, 9h–12h, islet M'tzamboro, 12°39'30.18"S, 45° 0'42.76"E, coll. KUW fieldwork, scuba diving 10–15 m, collapsed edge reef, sandy slope pronounced, 1 ovigerous female (LC 8.5 mm, LT 42 mm), MNHN-Na 16051.
Colouration (fig. 3). The colouration of the specimen agrees well with Debelius (2001), body light brown with white and dark brown makings on the tail, carapace and antennal scales, with distinct lateral longitudinal white lines on carapace and abdomen, legs and antennae transparent.
Distribution. Type locality Maldives Islands. Also known from Mayotte, Japan, Indonesia and Australia. Remarks. The specimen agrees well with the descriptions and illustrations of Bruce (1994) and Debelius (2001). The species was not previously recorded from Mayotte.
