Habitats:
The species was recorded in slow running waters located in the lowlands of the country.
Status:
Piscicola
cf.
haranti
is reported in this paper to be a new record for the
Czech Republic
. The first two records of this species in the country were collected from the Morava (March) and Labe (Elbe) River basins, and indicate its possible wider distribution in the country. Over the last 20 years this species has likely been slowly expanding its range throughout central Europe.
