Crematogaster (Sphaerocrema) striatula Emery variety obstinata (Santschi)
Numerous workers taken by Dr. Bequaert at Leopoldville in the peculiarly inflated stipules of a species of Uragoga, a rubiaceous plant (Part IV). The spaces inhabited by the ants are not true nests but merely kraals or stables for Coccidae, as no larvae or pupae were found in the structures.
