Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segments 7–10 or 8–10 brown (in specimen from Thailand , 17°30'N 101°21'E , antenna testaceous, except distal half of segment 10 brown); mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except tarsus testaceous (in specimen from Thailand , 17°30'N 101°21'E , legs brown, except tarsus, tibia, trochanter, part of coxa and stalk of femur testaceous). Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:7:6:4:4:6:6:6:5:9. Head shiny, unsculptured; face with three median longitudinal keels, including one complete frontal line; both lateral median keels beginning at sides of ocellar triangle; face with many short transverse keels situated between longitudinal keels and near orbits; vertex behind the ocellar triangle with two oblique keels connecting the posterior ocelli to the occipital carina (Plate 54A); occipital carina complete, surrounded by broad furrow crossed by many short keels; temple and ventral side of head with strong keel situated around orbits, furrow between keel and eyes crossed by short transverse keels; ocellar triangle convex; POL = 4; OL = 3; OOL = 11; OPL = 6; TL = 4 (temple absent in dorsal view); in specimen from Thailand , Maerim, OPL = 7; TL = 12. Pronotum shiny, smooth, with lateral regions hairy, very finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; posterior surface of pronotum approximately as long as, or shorter than scutum; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, smooth, finely punctate, unsculptures among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.15–0.25 length of scutum. Scutellum very humped, strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum very humped, shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum with dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface shiny, smooth, unsculptured, occasionally with lateral regions rugose; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Fore wing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (3:8). In two specimens from Thailand ( Maerim and Phu Rua National Park ) and in one specimen from China , Nanling National Nature Reserve , Protection Station , fore wing hyaline and without dark transverse bands. Protarsal segments of holotype in following proportions: 7:1:6:12:25; protarsal segments of specimen from Thailand , Maerim, in following proportions: 5:2:6:11:24. Segment 3 of protarsus produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Plate 54B) with one long bristle situated further distally than proximal prominence. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 54B) with few rows of approximately 23–39 lamellae (one row composed of longer lamellae); distal apex with approximately seven–ten lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. Male.
