Omid Paknia . Remarks: The genus Dolichoderus Lund comprises more than 130 species, distributed in all zoogeographic realms except Africa and Madagascar. Only one species, D. quadripunctatus , is known from the western Palaearctic. Its range covers central and southern Europe, central and southern parts of eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Anatolia, southwest Siberia, and the Tien-Shan range in Central Asia and China. This genus is new to Iran
