Associated phytophagous mites : no phytophagous mites were found associated with this species. Remarks : The measurements of a single adult female collected are similar to those given by Moraes & McMurtry (1983) for the holotype and other specimens of northeastern Brazil : dorsal shield length 330, width 213, j1 30, j3 38, j4 9, j5 10, j6 13, J2 13, J5 5, z2 15, z4 23, z5 10, Z1 13, Z4 13, Z5 65, s4 43 , S2 15 , S4 15 , S5 20 , r3 15, R1 13, Sge I 28 , Sge II 28 , Sge III 30 , Sti III 25 , Sge IV 45 , Sti IV 30 , St IV 53 , St1–St3 58, St2–St2 65, ST5–ST5 75, length of ventrianal shield 103, width at ZV2 level 50, width at anus level 68. These measurements are similar to those given by Noronha & Moraes (2002) for specimens from state of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil , except for j3, which is ca. 20% longer.
