Head shiny, strongly punctate (punctures large and deep, similar to areolae; some regions of head seem reticulate rugose; in specimen from Madagascar , 21°15.99’S 47°25.21’E , frons completely reticulate rugose); frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 8.5; OL = 4; OOL = 7; OPL = 6; TL = 3. Mesoscutum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.7–0.8 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Mesopleuron punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metapleuron shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without strong transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels, with central shiny unsculptured area. Forewing with dark distal transverse band; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (17:13). Paramere ( Figs 89 A-C) with one large apical band wrapping penis. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. . One gynander specimen of D. steineri is known from Madagascar , Fianarantsoa , Ranomafana National Park, Vohiparara, 21°13.67’S 47°22.19’E (CAS). Description: general aspect of a , without chelae. Fully winged; body length 3.7 mm . Head black, except mandible testaceous (with brown teeth) and anterior half of clyp- eus testaceous; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 8–10 brown; mesosoma black; metasoma brown-black; legs testaceous-ferruginous. Antenna filiform, setose; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:5:6:11:10:10:9:8:8:11. Head dull, reticulate rugose and with many irregular longitudinal keels; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 10; OL = 5; OOL = 7; OPL = 8; TL = 7; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli about as long as OL. Mesoscutum dull, reticulate rugose and with many irregular longitudinal keels. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum dull, reticulate rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing completely slightly darkened. Distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much longer than proximal part (29:11). Specimen with ovipositor, without genitalia. This specimen is attributed tentatively to D. steineri , because collected together with one normal specimen in the same locality. The reticulate rugose sculpture of the mesoscutum is not present in any species collected in the same locality ( D. harinhalai , madecassus , pulcher , rusticus , steineri , suavis ). The above sculpture is possibly present in the still unknown of D. steineri .
