Diagnosis. Females of this species can be recognized by the following characters: mesosoma with large horn extending anteriorly well beyond head; F5 about 1.4–1.6× as long as broad; pecten slightly less than half length of hind tibia; metasoma about 1.9× as long as head plus mesosoma (excluding horn).

Material examined. Type material: Holotype Ƥ: “ BRUNEI: Ulu, Tamburong Ridge, 14.ii-9.iii.1982, M. C. Day”, “Ƥ Brunneida scutituba g. sp. n., det. Z. Bouček 1994”, “ HOLOTYPE Ƥ Zebe cornutus J. La Salle, 2005 ”, “B.M. TYPE HYM 5.4459” ( BMNH).
