"Habitat in Oriente." RCN: 4224.

Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 120. 1983): Herb. Clifford: 315, Lamium 4 (BM-000646128) .

Current name: Wiedemannia multifida (L.) Benth. ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Mill (in Davis, Fl. Turkey 7: 149. 1982) indicated a specimen in Herb. Tournefort ( P) as the holotype but Wijnands rejected this in favour of material in the Clifford herbarium, on the grounds that Linnaeus would not have seen the Tournefort collection.
