Etymology Presumably L reclusa, shut up, separate, removed.

diagnosis A member of the distorta   HNS group distinguished by the following combination of traits.

Major: similar to distorta   HNS (q.v.) but with less exaggerated promesonotal hump, its rear face descending obliquely rather than vertically to the metanotum in side view; propodeal spines well developed; rugoreticulum of vertex loose, with large, smooth interspaces. Minor: propodeal spines strongly developed; humerus denticulate in dorsal-oblique view; occipital border in full-face view concave. Measurements (mm) Major (Minca, Colombia): HW 1.78, HL 1.76, SL 0.64, EL 0.16, PW 0.80. Minor (Minca, Colombia): HW 0.66, HL 0.66, SL 0.62, EL 0.14, PW 0.42.

color Major: bicolorous, with head light reddish brown, rest of body and appendages dark reddish to blackish brown.

Minor: concolorous light brown except for gaster, which is dark brown.

range Recorded from the type locality and near Minca, both in Magdalena, Colombia.

biology Unknown.
