Ornithocoris pallidus Usinger View in CoL

Pickens Co., Clemson, 14 September 1936, coll. J.R. Todd.

A written record of Haematosiphon inodorus Duges was archived in the CUAC. This genus of cimicid is native to Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico, but Usinger (1966) stated that O. pallidus was initially misidentified in the eastern U.S.A. as H. inodorus . Ornithocoris pallidus is primarily an ectoparasite of chickens.
